Full-Time Computer Scientist – Core Systems Development
Job Description
A tier 1 Investment Bank is looking for an all round computer scientist to work on their core systems development team. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work on all in-house systems across the bank, developing all internal libraries, frameworks and core platforms and requires the ability to consult across all desks form front to back office firmwide.
The choice of technology is open and applicants in backgrounds in Java, C#, C++, Python, KDB/Q, Scala, Haskell, Clojure or any other programming language are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be able to speak their chosen language fluently and to be able to express a complete understanding of computer science concepts i.e. Complexity Theory, Big O-Notation, Garbage Collection, Dependency Injection and so on.
This is an extremely technical role and will allow the successful applicant to immerse themselves in the latest technologies across the market whilst utilising all the resources of a Tier 1 Investment Bank.
