This is a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Application Support Analyst to join a leading Quantitative Trading Firm. This firm works with token issuers, traders, investors, miners, and multiple global exchanges.
Role
Provide daily application support and troubleshooting for clients and internal trade desks escalating to the development team appropriately
Fulfilling client onboarding requests.
Troubleshooting and analysis of order routing and trade flow and post-trade issues.
Create and track issues within an incident-tracking system to help identify trends and patterns
Assist with product testing and project work
Working within a shift rota to provide London support coverage from 7am – 8.30pm
Occasional weekend work will be required during major upgrades and out of hours testing
Experience required
Proven experience within a financial institution (buy-side, sell-side, venue/platform provider)
Application support experience within a Unix / Linux environment
Basic understanding of Futures and Options markets including LME.
Familiarity of MSSQL, Oracle or Sybase database environments, including query-writing.
Automation and scripting experience
Working knowledge of CQG or TT
Experience with industry-standard monitoring tools (LogicMonitor or similar)
Demonstrable working knowledge of the FIX protocol
