A fintech firm that specialises in designing, developing, and maintaining state-of-the-art algorithms for their trading clients is looking to add Python developers to their London team who have an interest in working on mathematical/quantitative applications to become Quant Devs. Designing and implementing Python applications using Pandas/Numpy to cover data priming, model execution, and post-trade processes across multiple new products the team is launching in the next 12-18 months.
Requirements:
- Computer science or related degree from a top university
- 2-5 years of experience building quantitative, data-intensive products using Python, Pandas, and Numpy are key
- An interest in working with businesses directly in a flat structured environment incl. traders/quants
- Excellent understanding of commercial development practices such as testing, documentation, as well as package management, and SDLC
Hybrid work model. Compensation £80-100,000 base salary with 20% bonus + benefits.
